When the Society acquired
the house at 9 Spring Street in Bedford, the house badly needed some
TLC. We have already made great
strides with the inside of the house and whoever looks at it is
amazed at what we have accomplished already.
However there are 29
windows in this house, and they have to be replaced to the tune of
$1000.00 per – to maintain the heritage look and feel.
Thanks to Windows Plus two of these
windows have already been replaced through a donation by their
supplier and installation by Windows Plus.
At our recent open house
in December 2011 those viewing the two new
windows were so enthused our Windows Campaign took on a life of its
own with one window already spoken for and a commitment to raise
funds for two others.

show each side of the house with the Windows
numbered, why not sponsor one of the new windows and get your name
or group name on a plaque as recognition. Just
think if 10 people you know get together and chip in $100 each, we
will have a new window and your names will go down in history, when
someone is viewing this house 100 years from
now it will be there.
