Board/General Meeting Date Change
The next Board/General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 15th at 7 pm. Due to renovations on the main level of the house, this meeting has been postponed by two weeks. It was originally scheduled on September 1st.
Hospice Society Need Volunteers!

Calling All Gardeners: Every Tuesday morning (weather permitting), the gardening group will be tending to our beautiful gardens. We still need more people to help weed and clean up the flower beds.

Office Help: Currently we would like volunteers who could enter data into an Excel spreadsheet (training provided), assist with letter writing, answer the phone, etc... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hospice Society Receives Grants from RBC
The Hospice Society of Greater Halifax has recently received two RBC Employee Volunteer Grants of $500 each to support the Society's bereavement programs. Thank you to Betty Morton and Ann Matthews who generously give their time to the Hospice Society of Greater Halifax!
ScotiaCare Homecare Gives Hospice Society a New Website
ScotiaCare CEO and supporter, Alex Handyside CSA, has given the Hospice Society a new look. The Society's new website, www.HospiceHalifax.org, was launched in June 2010 just as the society itself moved into its new location. Thank you to Alex and ScotiaCare for this generous donation.
