Bereavement Program

Our Bereavement Drop In Support Group meets on the 1st Saturday of each month from 9:45 am - 11:15 am, at our house at 9 Spring Street, Bedford and the 3rd Thursday of each month from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at the Council House, 989 Young Avenue, Halifax.

The group is for any adult experiencing the death of a loved-one and looking for a safe and supportive environment to explore their grief.

• Anytime during bereavement is a good time to look for support.

• Trained Hospice Society facilitators guide discussion and provide information about loss and grief.

• Participants join in the discussion or just listen.

• There is no fee for this service.

Coffee and tea offered at each session.
